Anger Management

We have all been there. Your chest tightens, heart beats fast, palms are sweaty, face is hot and breathing quickens.

As one of the essential human emotions, anger can be adaptive and serves an important function: it tells you that you are being threatened or attacked, so you can be ready to fight or defend. However, anger can be unhelpful if not properly processed. Not only because of how it can make you feel, but also what it may lead you to do.

  2. “Damage Control” - You usually cannot prevent the occurrence of events that anger you; but you are still able to control how you react to them.

  3. “Repair and Maintenance” - I get it, you lashed out. Now let’s talk about how you can turn things around and work on ways to keep your anger at bay.
