Psychological Testing

A psychologist is professionally trained and specialized in the diagnosis of psychological disorders. However, we do not believe that you are defined by your diagnosis, nor should it become your label. With that being said, a diagnosis could offer some explanation for your experiences and provide helpful initial guidance for your treatment.

Regardless of the principal reason for your visit, we thrive to provide a general assessment during your initial appointments to identify your diagnosis and make recommendations for your next steps. If you have a particular concern about a disorder, we can conduct a more thorough assessment, which comprises of gathering multiple sources of information and using computerized testing.

You may also be referred by your physicians or educators to complete a psychological assessment in order to determine the provision of specific resources and medical procedures. Our team has extensive experience communicating professionally with both physicians and educators to help meet your needs.
